Drey Hotel - The Village Dallas

I booked this hotel for a quick staycation with my husband. The staff was amazing and welcoming. We stayed in a studio with balcony at the lofts, it was a fully furnished apartment. A home away from home. They give you clear instructions on how to access your room at the lofts, it was simple and easy. There are many restaurants onsite within walking distance, little shops to browse and shop, pickleball, sand volleyball courts, a huge gym with basketball court, the pool looked amazing, a big turf grassy area to soak up the sun, have a picnic, throw a football around, so many options. It felt like a resort. This will be my new getaway spot.

Omg. Like for real. Me and the crew stayed here to see my best friend propose marriage to his fiancé on New Years Eve, and i was BLOWN away at the LOFTS!!! They are super spectacular. Very spacious, lofty, and affordable. Not to mention cozy enough to entertain a small froup of friends in an upscale adult environment. Front desk folks were very generous and gave very positive energy, as they were a tad busy with the holifay traffic. DEFINITELY making a reservation for said Lofts for a sexy night with Bae REAL soon.

Absolutely loved our stay here on NYE. Such friendly people, well priced and pretty new. Rooms are very nice with large comfortable beds. Can't say I minded the free wine at 5pm 😀 Also, in a very cool village location with all sorts of retail. Great gym. Nespresso machine in the room, which we liked. Have to add, that we attended the NYE party at the Drey and it was excellent fun! Croissants in the morning were "proper", which is rare. Terrific hotel and staff

I would say stay somewhere else. The staff run the hotel in a very haphazard manner. There is an obvious lack of professionalism. The room I stayed in lacked mattress covers. I lifted the sheets and it was just the mattress there which kind of freaked me out. Screaming for bed bugs to harbor there. I actually think I might have been bit one night. The room was spacious and large but terribly outdated with the exception of the bathroom. There was stains on the carpet. There is a nightclub across the street that plays music well until about 3 am that you can hear very clearly and loudly in your room at night. Music might even go longer but that is the latest I stayed up during my stay. I also wish someone to tell the snack lady to knock twice and then move on. She literally banged on the door loudly while I was on the phone and would not stop until I came to the door and offer snacks. Maybe she wasn't all there but that is just kind of ridiculous. The lobby, dining, and pool area look nice. The drinks are pretty good at the bar but the food was disgusting. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. You definitely don't get what you pay for at The Drey.
